Generous aromas of violets, black cherry and spicy plum. The palate is complex and luscious with ripe black fruits, milk chocolate and a subtle hint of black pepper. Sweet vanilla oak seamlessly integrates with layers with velvety tannins that lead to a rich and opulent finish.
We select the best parcels of grapes from mature vineyards in the Barossa Valley to make this elegant and balanced Shiraz. The yields are low to maximise fruit intensity and the higher elevation of the carefully chosen sites ensures a long and slow ripening period.
The grapes were carefully sorted, destemmed and fermented on skins for two weeks. The wines were then aged in French oak hogsheads for 14 months before blending and bottling.

Offering immense power as well as grace, this stunning rendition shows blackberry, dark chocolate, game, cedar and toasted spice aromas on the nose. The palate delivers outstanding weight and depth combined with opulent texture and chalky tannins, making it mouthfilling and delicious. Superbly structured and persistent. At its best: now to 2036.
